Zero Waste Fridge

Here is a snapshot of what’s in my fridge. Most of the fresh produce I get from @imperfectproduce - a local organisation that rescues imperfect fruits and vegetables from being sent to landfill. They sell organic and conventional product for up 40% cheaper - just because they are deemed a little ugly. I also supplement my weekly grocery shop from growers at the farmer’s market. Supporting local farmers is so important, I love buying directly from them and knowing where my food comes from. Finally, I prevent food waste by having an ‘Eat Me First’ box on the top shelf of my fridge, I make juice with sad looking vegetables and I also make my own coconut milk.
