Zero waste face mask

Pamper yourself with a zero waste face mask! This is as effective as a Korean sheet mask, without the plastic disposable sheet!

I used to love Korean sheet masks, they felt so good on my skin but are such wasteful products. Usually made of plastic, these once-use items need a zero waste replacement. I’ve finally found a recipe that gives my skin the same glow. Here is my recipe for an aloe vera and avocado oil mask: 1. 1/4 cup of avocado oil 2. 1/4 cup of fresh aloe vera (cut into small pieces) 3. 1 teaspoon of cornflour

Put everything into a small jar and shake thoroughly. Layer a thin film of the liquid onto your face and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Remove with a warm face cloth. Trust me, your skin will feel so soft when you’re done. The avocado oil helps unclog pores and aloe vera is super hydrating. No need for single-use sheet masks, this DIY mask is a game changer!

Just had a chat with my daughter. We're going to have a go at growing an aloe vera plant so we can make this! I'm terrible with plants but these seem pretty hardy and will be fun to make another of your skin care recipes. Thanks!
