Screens have become an insidious part of our every day lives. They are unavoidable, or are they?
Inspired by @lightandminimal, I’ve decided to have a ‘no TV’ day. Recently, I have taken to having CNN on in the background and random YouTube videos to keep me company. I’ve realised how distracting the incessant noise is.
The rules are:
No TV.
No Netflix, YouTube videos or other TV streaming services.
Yes to getting outside, reading, gentle music playing
It’s been so nice to rest my mind! Constant chatter in the background detracts from the task at hand and I’ve noticed my concentration levels have increased already.
Why not have a ‘no TV day’ today?
